Glass fibre woven Stove Rope is suitable for sealing doors and lids on solid fuel stoves and boilers around the flue pipe where it goes through the register plate, instead of cement which will fall out! You can also use it in flue pipe joins as many stove collars are often larger than the stove pipe, when the gap is too large to fill with fire cement alone you can push stove rope in to the joint first to fill most of the gap.
